๐Ÿ”ง Work Order Creation Based on Stock or Sales Order


โœ… Step 1. Create Work Order

Path: Production โ†’ Transactions โ†’ Work Order

  • Click + Create New.

  • Choose to create based on:

    • ๐Ÿ“ฆ Stock Requirement

    • ๐Ÿงพ Sales Order


โœ… Step 2. Add Material Details (Assign BOM)

  • Click on the Material Details tab.

  • Click Add to include an item.

  • Select the item and Assign Bill of Materials (BOM).

  • Click Save after BOM is assigned.

โœ… Step 3. Allocate Materials (Work Order Allocation)

  • Go to the Work Order Allocation section.

  • Allocate raw materials:

    • If stock is available โ†’ allocate from the store.

    • If not available โ†’ initiate a purchase request.

  • This step helps reserve materials for production.

โœ… Step 4. Finalize MRS (Material Requisition Slip)

  • Click on Finalize MRS.

  • The system will Show 3 types:

    • โœ… Store for Allocated Qty

    • ๐Ÿ“ฆ Purchase Quantity

    • ๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Assemble

  • Review material source details and confirm the MRS.

โœ… Step 5. Move to Pending Planning

  • After MRS is finalized, the Work Order moves to Pending Planning.

  • This section lists all Work Orders requiring production planning.

โœ… Step 6. Add Planning

  • In Pending Planning, click Add Planning.

  • Youโ€™ll be redirected to the Planning Screen.

  • Here, define:

    • ๐Ÿ“… Operation Type

    • ๐Ÿ•’ Start & End Time

    • ๐Ÿญ Machine / Plant

  • Save the planning details.

โœ… Step 7. Pending Production

  • Once planning is done, the Work Order appears in the Pending Production list.

  • These are orders ready for actual production but not yet started.

โœ… Step 8. Add Production

  • Click on Add Production to start manufacturing entry.

  • Youโ€™ll be taken to the Production Entry Screen.

โœ… Step 9. Production Item Details

  • On this screen, view:

    • โœ… Planned Quantity

    • ๐Ÿ•’ Production Time

    • ๐Ÿ”ง Operations & Machines Used

    • ๐Ÿ“ฆ Material Consumption

  • Click on Material Consumption to view:

    • Quantity of raw materials used

    • BOM breakdown for the produced item.
